SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application software for UB Foundation including, but not limited to: AccuFund, Real Vision Software (RVI), Caissa, and UB’s Strategic Information Reporting Initiative (SIRI).
- Utilize tools such as Visual Studio and SSIS to support data-driven applications, streamline data ETL (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, and ensure seamless data flow and integration across applications and systems.
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of data.
- Develop and maintain documentation for reports, procedures, processes, and interfaces.
COLLABORATION AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
- Collaborate with UBF staff to identify and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy of data feeds and provide opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Work directly with UBF staff and stakeholders to develop technical solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements. Engage with end-users to gather feedback and address user needs.
- Develop working knowledge of UB Foundation business office operations including specific needs and requirements of each department.
WEB DEVELOPMENT:
- Utilize current web techniques through the use of development tools and CMS platforms like WordPress to execute scalable and efficient website updates.
- Serve as primary contact for updating the ub-foundation.org website.
- Serve as contact for updating UBF related content on buffalo.edu website.
TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION AND INNOVATION:
- Investigate and recommend technology solutions as different needs are identified; maintain familiarity with new technology standards to ensure the future growth and development of the services provided.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum two years of experience (includes internships and relevant projects) working with database operations with the ability to access and understand data in a complex, multi-purpose client/server environment.
- Experience with SQL database operations relating to Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical support and usage of ad-hoc query tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Exercises attention to detail with high efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical end users
- Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and exercise independent judgement
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.
Salary Range
$72,000 - $82,000Additional Salary Information
The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.Job Type
