- Teach one or more sections of Media Writing Fundamentals, focusing on foundational skills in media writing
- Develop lesson plans and assignments that align with course objectives, helping students understand and apply best practices in journalistic writing
- Assess and provide feedback on students’ writing to foster improvement in clarity, style, and accuracy
- Engage students in discussions about contemporary issues in media and journalism, helping them connect classroom concepts to real-world applications
- Adhere to institutional standards and guidelines for grading, attendance, and academic integrity.

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or closely related field
- 3-5 years of experience a media-related field
- Media writing skills, knowledge of AP Style
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronic News Gathering (ENG) skills
- Multimedia reporting and production skills
