Computer Science - Open Rank Tenure Track Position
Job Description
The Hope College Computer Science department invites applications for a tenure track position to begin in Fall 2025. Primary consideration will be for applicants at the rank of Assistant Professor, although this is an open rank invitation. Successful candidates will have a passion for teaching undergraduate courses across the computer science curriculum, with a strong commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field. The development of a strong, externally-funded program of collaborative faculty-student scholarship is expected. Start-up funds will be provided.

Physical Demands
This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities.
