Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) is a nonprofit organization that integrates art, nature, and neighborhood to build and sustain a dynamic Delridge. For over 25 years, DNDA has been a voice for historically underserved communities of color, low-income families, immigrants, refugees, and youth. DNDA collaborates with local creatives and organizers to develop projects that engage young and diverse communities. Many of these programs are held at DNDA’s historic Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.

Position Summary
This is an exempt, full-time position reporting to the Development Director. The Grants Manager will support the Development Director and Co-Executive Directors, and will handle a diverse range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to the following:
Grant Writing, Budgeting, and Reporting
- Research and develop grant proposals, as directed by Development Director, communicating organizational mission to governmental, foundation, and other grant-making entities
- As part of the Development team, manage grant schedule, due date, awarded amount, scope of work, contracts, and reporting requirements for prospective and awarded grants
- At Development Director and/or Co-Executive Directors’ request, develop, analyze, review, and evaluate budgets for grant submission and implementation
- Create program Budgets with a team that includes Development Director, Program Directors, Accounting Department and the Co-Executive Directors
- Assist with the information exchange between the Development Team and Accounting Team to ensure that best practices are followed for grant budgeting, tracking and forecasting
- Support annual budget planning by forecasting revenue sources and expenses in collaboration with the Executive Directors and Development Director
Fundraising
- Monitor fundraising drives and annual fundraising events, including, but not limited to Destination Delridge and Wine in the Woods
- Manage and track donations and sponsorships via Salesforce; implement and assist Co-Executive Directors and Development Director with donor thanks and other calendared donor engagement
- Develop and implement donor segmentation plan
- Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions
- Prepare materials for charitable events, such as fundraising envelopes, bid sheets, and gift bags
- Prepare and send out year-end donation receipts to donors and funders
- Develop annual reports for donors and funders
- Utilize audience demographics for effective targeted marketing via audience segmentation
Project Management
- Maintain and update organizational donor database (Salesforce)
- Be part of the team that updates internal project management system for DNDA, currently BaseCamp
- Develop action items for agency-wide staff, manage deliverables, tracking project progress.
- Ability to provide training on SalesForce, BaseCamp and other systems as needed by DNDA staff, at the request of Co-Executive Directors, Development Director or other staff
- Technical competencies needed: Office 365, Salesforce, Google Suite
