Description
In this role, you'll enhance the ability for organizations to manage and configure Safari across their devices. You'll be responsible for expanding the features manageable via MDM platforms in a modern, scalable, and reliable way. You will bring management and configuration capabilities to new and existing Safari features. You'll be involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback. You'll work with partner teams in education and enterprise to figure out priority and scope of new configuration capabilities while also thinking about user privacy, and security. Your work will have large-scale impact, so we want you to be imaginative and self-motivated and to care deeply about craftsmanship and quality
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment focused on learning
- Excellent communication skills
- Detailed understanding of at least one of: Swift, Objective-C, C++, or C
- Strong object-oriented programming experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills
- BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management
- Familiarity with development on iOS and macOS
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.64 and $83.75/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
