Senior Director of Human Resources opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and administering the Human Resources functions in alignment with the organization's policies and external regulatory requirements. This role is a key part of the leadership team, working collaboratively with other leaders, medical staff, hospital departments, and all personnel to create a Human Resources environment that upholds the mission, vision, and values of Bitterroot Health.

The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and administering the Human Resources functions in alignment with the organization's policies and external regulatory requirements. This role is a key part of the leadership team, working collaboratively with other leaders, medical staff, hospital departments, and all personnel to create a Human Resources environment that upholds the mission, vision, and values of Bitterroot Health.
The Senior Director oversees all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, compensation, onboarding, performance management, employment investigations, and employee relations. They develop and recommend Human Resources practices and procedures that support the growth of the facility, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This is a salaried/exempt position as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Master preferred.
- Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: SPHR or PHR Certification through HRCI; or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP through SHRM
- Job knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local regulations relating to Human Resources, i.e., Title VII or the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADA, FMLA, and Wage and Hour law.
- Experience: Experience as a Human Resources Manager in the hospital setting preferred; or five or more years as a Human Resources Generalist in the hospital setting.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
