Salary Range: $31.00 - $49.50
Pay Info: Pay starts at $31 and increases according to years of applicable experience.
Job Summary
Carries out a variety of healthcare development opportunities for Sanford Health, specifically in the Sioux Falls region. Key responsibilities in major gift solicitation, development administration, donor recognition, annual & major gift and special event coordination. Responsibilities include writing for donor communication, making personal contacts with and soliciting gifts specifically in the Sioux Falls region, supporting areas such as Sanford Children's Hospital, Edith Sanford Breast Center, Ava's House, Sanford Cancer, Sanford Research, Sanford Health general fund and much more. Gifts are secured through corporate donors and individual prospects, leading specific fundraising campaigns, and collaborating with support team. Responsible for directly raising more than $1.25M annually, along with stewarding significant Foundation donors. Has an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and implement development opportunities as well as self-initiating skills and desires. Possess strong written, verbal and listening communication skills. Knowledgeable of development strategies and skills pertinent to making personal solicitations. Well organized with the ability to work well with interruptions and stress. Possesses flexibility and adaptability skills, which help to accommodate changing situations and workloads. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects to completion and possess a strong sense of customer service. Manages a diverse portfolio through traditional cultivation methods.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree is required.
Familiarity with marketing principles as they apply to fundraising.
Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification designation preferred.
