How would you contribute?

The Manager of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) will lead a team of HR professionals to deliver strategic and tactical HR support and consultation across multi-jurisdictional manufacturing and distribution sites. As a member of the Human Resources leadership team, this role will provide leadership guidance to foster and develop Airlite’s culture with a focus on serving to succeed. This role will provide daily support to drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and the Airlite culture, while ensuring alignment with employee standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage, lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure daily alignment with the leadership principles, goals and initiatives set forth by the leadership teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment to work with leadership teams to align people culture and business strategy with a shared identity of collaboration and alignment.
  • Partner with leadership groups to develop and implement innovative and supportive HR strategies to align with business goals.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to ensure cross functional support by partnering with and serve as a trusted advisor to the hiring managers in the talent selection process.
  • Provide consultation and support on workforce planning, talent management and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to encourage and drive change management initiatives in support of guiding the culture in a growing manufacturing setting.
  • In collaboration with HR Leadership team ensure alignment and adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Design and manage the implementation of policies as they relate to business objectives ensuring alignment with Airlite’s core values and culture.
  • Serve as an escalation point to manage complex employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
  • In collaboration with leadership teams, drive team member engagement and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Leadership teams to manage the performance management processes and ensure alignment with development opportunities and career growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with all team members across the organization while maintaining confidentiality and proper workplace ethics standards and expectations.
  • Address concerns and grievances in a fair and consistent manner while promoting a positive, supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights and make data informed decisions to develop strategies.
  • Oversee affiliated vendors and systems necessary to maintain the integrity of programs related to employment.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop training programs and materials on compliance-related topics for associated teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR staff and management on compliance matters, including but not limited to employee relations, FMLA and leave programs.
  • Fully participate in Airlite’s leadership development programs and apply concepts and learnings in daily practice.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in HR compliance (e.g., PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role with leadership responsibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and OSHA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Proven ability to influence, drive change, and achieve results through strong relationship management.
  • Expertise in federal/state employment laws and leading HR practices.
  • Skilled in data analysis, metrics interpretation and using HR analytics to drive decision.
  • Proven experience developing and leading teams of strategic HR professionals.
  • Progressive experience developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Capability to solve complex problems, utilizing strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to assemble resources needed to orchestrate multiple projects/activities and accomplish goals.
  • Model a collaborative leadership style with the ability to build partnerships and influence others into action.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and consultative approach; tactful in dealing with people at all levels.
  • Strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and positive.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to actively lead change initiatives.
  • Display highest ethical standards.
  • Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role will require ~ 5% travel.
