Job Description

Class Description

The purpose of this class is to assume responsibility for general management functions of assigned College department of division.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required plus 3 years experience in graphic design, printing, or related field. Previous supervisory experience preferred. 

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Supervise and direct the operations of assigned College department or division.
  2. Direct the development and maintenance of all departmental records and reports.
  3. Develop and administer departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures to ensure consistency.
  5. Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
  6. Manage operating budget for assigned division or function, as required.
  7. Prepare, analyze and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
  8. Oversee, monitor and/or control appropriations and expenditures, as required.
