Title: Sign Language Interpreter (Temporary Part -Time)

Position Summary: (Temporary/Part Time, As Needed)

Facilitate communication in the classroom and in college related activities.

Hours: Temporary Contract. Up to 25 hrs/variable times

Department: Disability Services

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret from Sign Language to English and from English to Sign Language among deaf or hard of hearing
students, instructors, and staff.

Required Qualifications: Professional training from an Interpreter Training Program and one year interpreting experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics: The commitment to adhere to the RID/NAD Professional Code of Conduct

Preferred Qualifications: RID-NAD certification.

Closing Date: This position will stay open at the department's discretion.
