Regional Director, Human Resources
Job Description
Benedictine, a non-profit health care system managing more than 30 senior care facilities throughout the Midwest, is seeking a full-time Regional Director,People Development. This is a telecommuting position open to candidates located in the upper midwest.
This position is responsible for providing consultation, training, and support to multiple Benedictine locations within all facets of HR, including compliance, policies/procedures, employee relations, workers compensation, recruitment and retention, performance coaching, terminations, legal compliance, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with Benedictine locations on human resource related matters to support the retention of professional, engaged and caring staff and to ensure HR administration compliance.
- Serve as the first contact for HR staff on all issues related to the HR discipline including interpretation of policies, federal/state regulations and laws, internal processes, staffing issues, etc.
- Collaborate with assigned locations on establishing recruitment and retention programs to insure locations are appropriately staffed, retention meets organizational goals, and appropriate engagement programs are utilized.
- Consult with assigned locations on safety programs, ensuring strategic objectives are met and the programs are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide hands-on training to HR staff at multiple locations on the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, compliance and functionality.
- Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with required laws, policies and procedures within assigned locations.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources Management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) or more years of experience as an HR Manager, or closely related experience.
- Possess well-rounded experience within all areas of the HR discipline.
- Must be able to travel up to 30-50% of work time.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Knowledge of the healthcare or long-term care industry.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or equivalent certification.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
